Took my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday. Absolutely superb. Paul, who I think was the manager was so pleasant and helpful and our server was excellent. Came over to see if everything was okay and if we wanted more drinks. The afternoon tea was fab! Lovely sandwiches and so many cakes! Sandwiches freshly made with plenty of filling and every cake we had was superb. You get so much that we asked for some takeaway boxes . First class environment, superb service , great food and good value for money. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you. Nick

What a difference a year makes!! Today we celebrated my aunt’s birthday with afternoon tea here. From the moment we arrived we were treated with courtesy, professionalism & kindness by all the staff on duty. Nothing was too much trouble for them & they went out of their way to make sure we were all happy and comfortable throughout our time there. Our food & drinks were served promptly and they were delicious - compliments too to the kitchen team. The venue itself is beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. I have already been recommending this to friends and family following our visit here today & we will definitely be back, before another year has passed. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so good today, and my aunt’s 91st birthday one for all of us to remember!
Another fantastic Sunday lunch at The Old Stables. Food perfectly cooked and we were well looked after by warm and friendly staff. Without a doubt the best Sunday roast to be found in Liverpool!

Had a delicious Sunday roast. Beef done just the way I like it. Very generous portions. It is expensive but well worth it because of the quality of the food. Staff are very friendly and helpful Toilets spotless Would recommend it, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion
